The 2020/21 application season is well under way and, despite the current global uncertainties, our students have been working hard in recent weeks to construct powerful CV’s, personal statements and letters of motivation. Teachers have also been busy writing highly individualised reference letters that reflect the deep knowledge that they have of the students in their class. The office staff have been preparing transcripts and other official documentation, and mock interviews have been taking place via Google Meets.
Our 2021 graduating class have made aspirational decisions around their prospective destinations and have many leading global universities in their sights, including: University fo British Columbia, Yale-NUS, Cambridge University, Imperial College London, The University of Amsterdam, St Andrews University, University College Leiden, ESCP Business School, Edinburgh University, The University of Utrecht, Goldsmiths, EPFL Lausanne, and many more. Many students are juggling applications to multiple destinations in order to give themselves options if travel corridors remain limited, and others have the added pressure of applying for academic and financial scholarships alongside programme applications.
We have already received a number of early offers from institutions in Canada and the Netherlands and anticipate that many more will come flooding in over the coming months.
