Our whole school wider reading focus has continued over the last few weeks with the Science department’s focus. During this, students have had the opportunity to hear Pak Robin read from his recommended text, pick up subject-related book suggestions and continue to collect rewards for completing a review on a book from the selection. Students have also been gaining stamps and quick points for using the Science keyword ‘validity’ in lessons, across subjects and even in assembly!
For the following few weeks, the wider reading focus comes from Business and Economics. Please do encourage your child to pick up a book from the reading list. The book list and book review template are available again on Engage. Ibu Jo will be reading from her recommended book, ‘The Mandibles’ by Lionel Shriver in the library during lunchtime on Friday, 12 April. The Business/Economics key word is ‘dependent’.
