Our school-wide reading focus has continued over the last few weeks with the Maths department’s focus. During this time, students have had the opportunity to hear Pak Jon O read from his recommended book, pick up a special reading list bookmark and collect rewards for completing a book review on a book from the selection. Students have also been gaining stamps and quick points for using the Maths keyword ‘respectively’ in lessons, across subjects and even in assembly! From 22 February, the wider reading focus comes from the Science department! Please do encourage your child to pick up a book from the Science reading list. The book list and book review template are available again in Engage. Pak Robin will be reading from his recommended read, ‘Bad Science’ by Ben Goldacre in the library during lunchtime on Friday, 1 March. The Science key word is ‘validity’.
