We hope most of you were able to attend the PTFA Pot Luck Dinner party a few weeks ago and enjoyed the event as much as we did. It was great to see parents and students enjoying the food, refreshments and entertainment and we hope new families had an opportunity to mingle and feel welcomed into the Dyatmika community
Thank you parents for contributing food and refreshments and to the Class Reps WhatsApp team for helping organise this with their class groups. Thanks to the magician for his mystifying magic and fun tricks with the children. Also a big thanks to The Hillkillies Band, Leo and the team who gave their time to entertain us during the PotLuck afternoon with their great music.
The PTFA will hold a general meeting at the end of May. It will be the final meeting for this school year and will run through how we are gathering information for the knowledge bank list and results of the transport survey, as well as preparing for the BSSA Athletic carnival to be held in June. Meeting details will be sent in the coming weeks.
We are also keen to hear from parents interested in joining the PTFA Executive committee. A couple of PTFA Exec members are unable to continue on so we’re looking to fill these positions. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a enjoyable role with your school and community. We encourage all interested parents to speak with us and learn more about what we do.
