I constantly use the word busy in these articles but sometimes it is hard to think of other words to describe all the activities and events that seem to take place.

This week, all the school photographs were taken and news about how to order those will be coming to you when the photos are ready. Class 3 entertained us at the assembly this morning and I continue to be impressed with our Class 5 leaders who manage to lead the assemblies without a worry in the world.

On Monday and Tuesday, Ibu Erni and Ibu Dewi Yuli will be in Surabaya participating in a Cambridge Science Curriculum Workshop. Science is one of the subjects that, whilst we follow the Cambridge programme, is taught in both languages and with very direct links to the national programme. It is important, therefore, that our staff attend conferences and workshops like these that continually keep them informed and on top of the latest models of good teaching practice.

When the students return to school on Monday, 24 February 2020, there will be a jampacked four weeks remaining in Term 3 with PTCs, field trips a-plenty and assemblies, culminating in the EY/Primary Production of “The Torch”.
