Last Friday, I got the chance to meet the Class Parent Reps for this academic year. I look forward to working with them all. Arrangements will be made soon for our next meeting and also the first Parent Workshop for this academic year.

The Learn to Swim Programme got underway this week. The programme will run into next term. Remember, this is not part of the Extracurricular Programme, rather it is part of the compulsory P.E. Programme. It is the expectation that all students from Class 1 to Class 5 attend. It is a good opportunity for the students to gain some independent skills like packing an extra swimming bag, remembering swimming attire, not leaving things behind at the pool and as much as possible to get themselves dry and changed back into their school uniforms. I am happy to see that Class 1 students are getting the assistance they need as they develop these skills for Class 2 independence.

We were entertained today by Class 3 at the Primary assembly. Class 1 will be presenting some items at the next assembly on 20 September.

The booking form for the Parent and Teacher Conferences for Term One will be put up on Engage at the beginning of Week 7. Due to some of the staff doubling up with classes at the moment, the conferences will be slightly different to last year, so make sure the information is read carefully and you book on the correct day.
