Kangaroos on the streets of Adelaide, jellyfish and dolphins returning to Venice – nature, and the planet is enjoying its break from human interference. Class 12 were tasked with examining the way the coronavirus situation has affected tourism and nature across the globe. They were then asked to decide what advice should be given to governments to prevent damage from over-tourism returning in certain tourism hot-spots, once the world returns to ‘normal’ travel again. Sherrene and Tao produced a superb short documentary on Venice, and potential management strategies, which you can view below. This is a great example of the positive student engagement and achievement happening, as well as online collaboration, despite a lack of exams.
