Current circumstances have prevented the student council from hosting its annual Halloween festivities, Halloween usually being the Student Council’s first big event within the school.

This year, the sitting Student Council has decided to host its second bake sale of the school year, selling all kinds of Halloween themed baked goods. The joined effort of the members of the Student Council, from those investing their time and efforts into making delicious treats for students and teachers alike to enjoy, to those that have been delivering orders all over the island, was heartwarming to see and experience.

Even in times like these, students are still able to share the Halloween spirit from their homes by submitting their excellent Halloween costumes for the costume competition. Students from grades 4 and up participated, showing off many artistic talents through their makeup and use of clothes at home to create a costume.

What else can we expect from the Student Council?

There will be a ‘Community Day’ in late November, where there are activities that will be set to try and improve the morale and for students to interact with one another more. The event will be held on November 27, and hopefully it will be very fun! The Student Council will look forward to everyone signing up!
