This week, Ibu Karen started teaching e-safety tips to students in TK A, TK B and Class 1 (older classes also have lessons this term). E-safety is about being safe while online, using the internet safely and what to do if you have a problem or something makes you feel uneasy.

The UK child protection agency CEOP has created animations, storybooks, activities and a catchy song for children aged 4 – 7, teaching them to tell a grown up they trust if something “makes them feel funny in the tummy” when they are online. There is plenty more information for parents and carers regarding conversations we should have with our children about keeping safe while using the internet on their website which is free to use: www.thinkuknow.co.uk
