Alumni and Bali United Player – Gavin Kwan Adsit visits Dyatmika
On Monday, 22 November, Gavin Kwan Adsit, a former Student who left Dyatmika to pursue his football career, visited Dyatmika and spoke to Class 7 students about following their dream and being committed and working hard to achieve their goals. He also did a short bit of coaching with Class 7 boys who asked lots of questions about Gavin’s career and now playing for Bali United.
Gavin left Dyatmika when he was in Class 10 (2012) to pursue his dream of playing football as he had an opportunity at that age to go and play football in Germany. Since then he has travelled extensively playing in Germany, Italy, Romania and now back in Indonesia. He also told the students he met Lionel Messi when a team he was playing for toured Spain and played again some of the top clubs in the Spanish League.
He has now gone full circle and is back in Bali playing for Bali United and he has also represented the Indonesian Senior Football team on numerous occasions.
It’s always great to see and hear how former Dyatmika students are doing and said he will never forget his time at Dyatmika and noted how much the campus has changed since he was a student.
The Indonesian Football League – Liga 1 will be coming to play in Bali in January.
Dyatmika’s Surfer Girls and Boys!
Congratulations and good luck to Nala and Imari (Class 7). They both won a ‘Golden Ticket’ qualification into the March 2022 U14’s National Surfing Competition.
Good luck and keep up the hard work also goes to Suri (Class 8) and her brother Shia (Class 3) who are training hard in surfing to enter into upcoming competitions.
If there are any other Dyatmika students who are playing, competing in any outside sports competitions let Pak Philip know. We would like to celebrate your sports effort and achievements with you. Unfortunately at the moment we still cannot compete in any school competitions.
