In today’s world, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is becoming more vital to not just individual citizens, but also to the development of countries large and small, including Dyatmika as a community.
To assist young learners of Dyatmika in recognizing this, the IT Department is launching an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Competition for students in Classes 6, 7, and 8. This competition aims to promote the use and development of content based ICTs at Dyatmika. It is also our expectation that the competition will promote creativity in the use of innovative ICTs, and lead to a more efficient use of technology in the learning process and daily life situation.
Below are the schedule and criteria for the competition:

Monday, October 25 2021 – November 5, 2021
Category of the Competition
1. CATEGORY 1 (Class 6)
The Challenge: Students are invited to dream and imagine their school without paper, but rather one that fully embraces and uses ICTs. Students are asked to depict how they would use modern technology to help their school better serve its students through one of the following:
- Write 200 words OR;
- Produce an illustration or drawing (no larger than 27.94 cm x 43.18 cm) OR;
- Produce a video that is three minutes or less
2. CATEGORY 2 (Class 7)
The Challenge: Students are invited to produce a video clip (max 5 mins) demonstrating the use of ICTs in a creative and innovative way that provides a solution to one of the following ICT topics:
- Cyber Security and E-safety
- Life and Technology
- The Internet of Things
3. CATEGORY 3 (Class 8)
The Challenge: Using ICTs, develop an idea to enhance the advantages of ICT or Technology in any of these areas:
- Health
- Recreation
- Education
- Cyber Security and E-safety
- Life and Technology
- The Internet of Things
