Spinach is a very popular super food; it is delicious and packed with many beneficial nutrients. The garden’s organically grown spinach is called bayam in Indonesian and is slightly different from the spinach that grows in European countries, but they are interchangeable in basically any spinach recipe.

Our spinach is best cooked or sauteed down into a reduced form. This can be eaten as a side dish vegetable or added in a number of recipes for soups, stews, and casseroles. It’s funny how spinach, formerly the bane of our childhood dinners, is now one of our favourites and on top of that, is incredibly versatile!
