Over the holiday the school campus has been a hive of activity. So many projects have been completed ranging from general maintenance and deep cleaning to various building projects and renovations. These are an excellent addition to the school and arise from careful strategic planning to ensure campus developments are in line with the schools expanding needs. As a not-for-profit school, Admission Fees are placed into the School Development Fund (SDF) at the end of each academic year, along with any minor amounts remaining in other budgets. The SDF funds can only be used for building and improving fixed assets and must be used within 4 years so as not to attract 30% taxation.

Below are some photos of some key projects that have been completed:

New Primary Block

The new Primary block is an attractive and very welcome addition to the school. The classrooms are bright, spacious and airy and the block also includes offices, a staff room and a new medical room.

Early Years Playground

This wonderful new playground is certainly a highlight of the Primary School. The central tree house, climbing frame and slide provides a wonderful structure for children in our early years to explore and develop their gross motor skills. This safe, purpose built area will allow a natural flow between indoors and the outside to promote meaningful learning and play opportunities. The old primary offices were also converted into a classroom providing a perfect enclosed environment for PG and TK classes.

Building painting

Various buildings around the school have been painted and refreshed, including the Secondary Classroom Block.

Sportshall canopy

A large canopy has now been installed at the side of the sportshall which will be a welcome addition to provide shelter from the weather, come rain or shine!

Library and Study Room re-carpeting

The library and study room have a fresh, professional look thanks to the new carpets that have been fitted during the holiday.

Painting of furniture

The maintenance team has painted and refreshed the furniture outside primary classrooms. These look fresh and welcoming for the term ahead.

IT Infrastructure

In addition to setting up the IT infrastructure in the new primary block, upgrades to the whole school IT infrastructure have taken place over the holiday and a new server room has been installed.
