In the current situation, unfortunately, we could not hold Dyatmika’s Annual Alumni Gathering this year. However,we made the Alumni Sharing Session happen. The positive side of having the session online was that Alumni from all over the world could attend. On Thursday, 1 October 2020, we had alumni who are currently studying in the US, Canada, The Netherlands, Australia, Japan, and also an alumni who is currently pursuing his passion as an actor and entrepreneur in Jakarta, to share their experiences with the class 11-12, from university preparation, life in the university, the obstacles and what they can do when they are planning for gap years. Not only sharing about the university and their life in general after graduation, but they also told the students how many things they learned from Dyatmika both academically and socially helped them a lot to overcome their obstacles.
I could see how enthusiastic the students were by seeing the many questions they asked during the small group discussions with the alumni. Hopefully, with these various experiences the alumni shared, the students will get more information and insights to make them be more ready to plan their future.
