During the school holidays, the Department of Campus Facility Services and Security held a Personal Development activity for Support Staff with the theme of meeting and sharing your problems in workplaces (how to increase passion in work.) This meeting was about discussing problems at work, how to improve performance at work and challenges in the future. The activity was attended by all Support Staff – Housekeeping, Gardeners, Maintenance and Security – in the Study Room.
The categories and material presented are intended for all staff to be able to address issues surrounding the workplace and work outcomes regarding place, facilities, work relationships and types of work. All staff can provide input on suggestions to achieve the best solution, have a goal / objective to map problems and find solutions to each problem. With the help of this workshop all staff learned how to solve existing problems, improve personal performance, and also understand the importance of team work.
The last session was a self-improvement seminar with the theme Choosing Happy (I choose to be Happy), which can be applied in schools where loving work is the most important part in improving the performance and enthusiasm of both individuals and teams. The event was attended by Ibu Lila, Ibu Widi, and Pak Aswin. The speaker/motivator was Mr. DR. I Gede Agus Kurniawan, S.S, SH.MH. The activity went very smoothly and closed with meditation.
