In Class 3, we have been discussing living and non-living things. We visited the Dyatmika Community Garden yesterday to observe and list the living and non-living things found in the garden. An interesting discussion we had was asking the question, “Is dried, chopped grass living or non-living?”
The study was extended to the introduction of plants and smelling different leaves. Garden visits will be a regular part of our classes as we grow our own plants as part of the curriculum in the new Dyatmika Community Garden.
