Welcome
Welcome to Dyatmika School – a forward thinking school with a well deserved reputation for our commitment to academic excellence, for nurturing the personal growth and development of every student, and for our strong school-to-home connections.
Children learn best when they enjoy school and are taught by the very best teachers. Dyatmika students thrive through our commitment to student wellbeing and provision of a bilingual, academically rigorous education that is complemented by a focus on the Arts and Sports.
Dyatmika is a not for profit school meaning all income is invested in the education of the children and maintaining and developing the quality of the school’s facilities and resources. Our beautiful campus overlooks rice fields and the ocean, whilst all buildings are purpose built taking advantage of the views and fresh sea breezes. We stay true to the guiding principles first envisioned by the school’s founders, and encapsulated in the Dyatmika Charter; our students are well-rounded, civic-minded individuals who display moral integrity and respect towards others. We recognise and celebrate the unique culture and traditions of Bali, whilst valuing the diversity of nationalities present in the school.
In the Early Years and Primary classrooms, students are immersed in both Bahasa Indonesia and in English, providing the foundations to develop into confident, independent and resourceful learners. As they move into High School, Dyatmika students continue to learn Bahasa Indonesia whilst subject teaching is conducted in English, leading to great success in the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level examinations. Our Learner Profile underpins the breadth of learning opportunities available to our students, and we are proud that our programmes enable students to leave Dyatmika well equipped for their future learning in the world’s top universities and in their lives beyond school.
The close home-school partnerships fostered at Dyatmika enable us to nurture outstanding students. We are proud of our warm community feel and consider parents to be a key part of our success. We have an active Parent, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) and welcome parental involvement in Dyatmika. Across the year there are events, fundraisers, meetings and activities in support of the school and our ongoing goal to continually develop the educational experience of our students.
I hope that this website provides you with useful information and a window into our wonderful school. If you are a prospective parent, I would be delighted to welcome you to the school in-person and show you why joining Dyatmika School will make you and your children feel part of something special.
