On Thursday, 26 September Dyatmika will open its doors to the representatives from over 60 further education institutions. Some of this year’s attendees include: The University of Melbourne, Monash University, University of British Columbia, La Salle College, University of Sydney, RMIT, University of Dundee, Instituto Marangoni, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Sciences Po, Ohio State University, Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, and many many more.
IALF Bali – who organise the IELTS test that many students will be required to take in Class 12 for university entry and visa purposes – will also be represented.
Throughout the afternoon there will be a series of workshops on offer on topics ranging from how to write an effective personal statement for UCAS to careers in the creative industry.
This annual event is an excellent opportunity for students and parents to interact, ask questions and build relationships with institutions. Questions could be focused on:
- course requirements and design
- application procedures and deadlines
- accomodation options
- visa requirements
- campus culture and extracurricular programmes
- costs and scholarships
Please join us in the Sports Hall between 1pm and 4pm. Many thanks to the parents who joined me last week for the information session on University applications around the world. The slides from the presentation are now available on the Parent Portal on Engage for those who were not apply to attend.
