Starting High School is scary. There are many new things and everything seems much more complicated than it used to be.
This year, all my classmates and I began high school, and we were quite nervous about it. At first, it felt really strange to have to move around in different classes and meet new teachers (and classmates), but eventually, it wasn’t that much of a big deal anymore.
In Primary, there is barely any homework or tests but in high school, this is a significant change. For example, last week, we had our first End of Topic test, which felt very scary and new. In the end, we will all get used to it, and it won’t be as difficult anymore.
Time management was also a lot harder to handle, all my schedule was moved and all things I had to do in the afternoon got more complicated. I had to shift it all, find different days and sometimes cancel activities. However, cancelling some activities gave me the opportunity to find new ones, ones that I have done before!
Overall, High school is a very big opportunity to do what you like and discover new things. I love high school and thank all the staff and teachers for welcoming us very warmly into high school.
