Science
Classes 6-8 follow the Cambridge Checkpoint course for Science. This is a broad and balanced programme which gives students a good foundation in all 3 of the Science subjects – Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Over these three years, the students will build up their scientific knowledge as well as their understanding of many scientific concepts. They will learn how to work safely in a Science laboratory and they will develop the practical skills needed to conduct their own investigations.
By the end of Class 8 they will then have the combination of scientific skills, knowledge and understanding needed for them to take their studies in Science further at IGCSE. Students will also have the opportunity to compete in the annual Dyatmika Science Fair to further develop their scientific skills.
