Class 8 conducted a science funfair for classes 3 and 4 on Friday the 3rd of June 2022.
They worked together as a group in planning, constructing, testing and presenting a fun science experiment.
Class 8 also had to explain the scientific concepts that were used in their experiments in a way that was easily understood by the younger years.
Thus, this was a fantastic learning experience for all those involved.
“I really enjoyed the science fair. I learned how to present and keep the kids interested. It was great seeing kids have fun and be engaged and truly interested in our experiment. I learned how to work together better and how teamwork was important”
Enzo, 8x
“Personally, I think the science fair was a very rewarding experience after we did the checkpoint exams. It taught us the value of teamwork and communication”
Gosha, 8y
“There were many things I learned from presenting and making the project. Teamwork was the essential key in this project. Now, I learned how electricity is used in my project, how some chemicals are used in other groups’ projects. So, wandering around to different projects helped me gain more knowledge about the science concepts behind the projects”
